Creed is one of the oldest and most prestigious perfume houses in the world, founded in 1760 in London by James Henry Creed as a tailor and perfumer to the royal court. The brand quickly earned recognition among European nobility for its craftsmanship and bespoke fragrances, eventually relocating to Paris in the mid-19th century where it became a favorite of French emperors and aristocracy. Passed down through seven generations, Creed remains a family-owned house, with Olivier Creed and his son Erwin Creed continuing the legacy today. The brand is celebrated for its dedication to traditional methods, including hand-filtering, infusion, and maceration techniques rarely seen in modern perfumery. Creed is best known for iconic creations like Green Irish Tweed and Aventus, which solidified its global reputation for luxury and distinction. Today, Creed is regarded as a symbol of heritage, exclusivity, and timeless elegance, combining centuries of tradition with modern innovation.
