Aromatrail Refund & Return Policy
At Aromatrail, your satisfaction is our priority. We work exclusively with authentic, high-quality perfumes, and our policies are designed to be fair, transparent, and customer-friendly while protecting against misuse.
Eligibility for Return
- Returns are eligible within 30 days after delivery for brand-new, sealed, unopened, and unused items only.
- First return per customer (per month): Free prepaid return label provided.
- Additional returns: Customer covers shipping, or $10 is deducted from the refund if a prepaid label is requested.
- Opened or used items are not eligible for return. In rare approved cases, a 15% restocking fee may apply.
- Orders forwarded via third-party freight services are not eligible for returns, refunds, or claims.
- Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: Eligible for a free replacement or full refund only if shipping insurance was purchased and reported within 24 hours of delivery with required documentation.
- Original shipping charges and insurance charges are non-refundable.
Final Sale Items
- Samples, testers, travel sizes, and partial-use/used fragrances are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or refund.
Lost, Stolen & Damaged Packages
- If you did not purchase shipping insurance, Aromatrail is not responsible for any packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance at checkout to protect your order.
- Marked Delivered but Not Received (Stolen): Refunds are only issued if shipping insurance was purchased and a carrier verification letter is provided.
- Damaged in Transit: Eligible for a free replacement or full refund only if shipping insurance was purchased and damage is reported within 24 hours of delivery with required photo documentation.
- A package is officially classified as lost if it has not registered any movement for a period of 2 weeks. Only packages meeting this criterion and where shipping insurance was purchased will be eligible for a refund or replacement.
Refund Process
- Processed within 5–7 business days after receiving and verifying your return.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method (store credit available on request).
- Processing time may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card provider.
- Unauthorized opened returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee or refusal.
Exchanges
- Allowed within 30 days for brand-sealed, unopened items only.
- One free exchange per order; additional exchanges may incur shipping fees.
How to Start a Claim or Return
- Email support@aromatrail.com with your order number and issue.
- For damages, include clear photos of the item and packaging within 24 hours.
- For lost or stolen packages, provide carrier documentation if required.
- Our team will confirm eligibility and guide you through the process.
- Once your return is approved, a prepaid return label will be provided.
- ⚠️ You must ship the item back within 3 business days of receiving the return label. Failure to return the item within this timeframe will result in the return request being automatically cancelled and no refund or exchange will be issued.
- Items must be returned in their original condition. Returns that arrive damaged, opened, or used will be subject to a 15% restocking fee or refusal.
- Returns will not be accepted if more than 3 business days have passed after receiving the return label.
